Grandfather Campground in Banner Elk, NC is a great choice for those who love to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains region of North Carolina. The campground is conveniently located near Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Banner Elk, and Linville. Furthermore, the cell coverage is excellent, and cable is also available, although there is no TV service. The campground features a nice dog park and trout fishing. While some sites are narrower than others, the views of the surrounding mountains are amazing from the top of the campground. Additionally, the campgrounds lots are level, with updated and well-working hook-ups. The park is beautiful with a trout stream running through it, and it is very relaxing to hear the water at night, especially for fishermen. Its good to note that the bathhouse can be somewhat dirty, but there are some clean days as well.

Grandfather Mountain Campground RV Resort & Cabins offers 30 and 50 amp full hookup sites, tent sites, and several types of cabin rentals. The campground is conveniently located close to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, and Banner Elk. They are open all year and offer shortened office hours for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The campground has cabins and RV sites open now, as well as tent sites for winter campers. They offer a perfect vacation or getaway in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
