Adventure Village is a campground located just off Highway 64, about 10 minutes outside of Brevard, North Carolina. The park is nestled in the soft, rolling hills that are covered in trees and features a gorgeous pond with a gazebo on a bridge leading to a swimming pool. There are 18 RV sites that are further back into the woods and are all back in, half of them facing a small stream that runs down one side of the RV area. The pond is stocked with fish and there are hiking trails right out of the park. The sites are unlevel and the water hook-ups are covered with buckets that are quite filthy, so it is not the most pleasant place visually. However, the park is very quiet and the camp sites are angled so you are not looking directly into your neighbors window. The park also offers WiFi, cable, 50 amp, and sewer hook-ups. Cellular service is almost non-existent, but Adventure Village does offer WiFi. The park is close to waterfalls and Walmart is about 15 minutes away. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and are always available during business hours. The bathrooms and showers are basic, but clean. This is a great location for a base camp to explore the waterfalls of Brevard and the surrounding area.
