The area has many trees which suffice as a partition between the sites, ensuring a level of privacy. Several amenities like canoes, laundromat and zip-line are provided, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, there were a few downsides like the fire pits had weeds growing which could have been better maintained. There was only one trail which was not properly marked, and the campground could use more trash disposal areas placed around. Additionally, the cable blocking the entrance can be a bit frustrating at times. Overall, Black Forest Family Camping is a great place to camp with your family due to its kid-friendly amenities.
