The campground has paved and level sites with most having grass, although some may have less grass and become muddy when it rains. The location is quiet, although planes from the nearby Charlotte airport are audible throughout the day and night. However, amidst the trees, squirrels, and cardinals, youll feel like youre truly camping. The campground offers good facilities including a pool and a camp store. All sites are paved with well-maintained roads and free WiFi, making the campground ideal for families. Additionally, the campground provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the theme park while also offering a free parking pass for campers that choose to drive.

Camp Wilderness features RV and popup sites that can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. The paved RV sites feature full hookups with water, sewer and electric. Fifty of the sites have upgraded, 50amp service. There are also a limited number of sites with 30amp service for popups. Every site also features a charcoal grill and free wifi.
