Cherokee Riverfront RV Park is a small, 9-site RV park located in Saunooke Village Business District, beside Big Cove Rd, at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The property has been owned by five Cherokee Indian Chiefs and is currently owned by the great grandson of Chief Osley Bird Saunooke. The park offers great cell phone reception and is adjacent to the Elk habitat. The main hiking trail to the Visitor's Center or to the GSMNP is across the river from the park. The park has no bath house or cable, but limited WIFI is available at visitcherokeenc.com. The park offers RV rentals and luxury RV rentals that are as nice as any upscale condo anywhere, packed with leather seating, king-size Tempur-Pedic bed, French-door, stainless fridge, gas stove, large shower, and more! The park also offers cozy and fun RVs. The park is a great place for fishing, swimming, tubing, and enjoying the outdoors.
