Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground is a family-owned campground located in Chimney Rock, NC. It has a mix of permanent sites and guest sites. Although some permanent sites may look worn down, it doesnt affect the campgrounds overall experience. The owners are accommodating, friendly, and helpful to the guests. However, some guests complained about the lack of information when they arrived. There was no map to indicate where their site was, and there was no one to guide them. The lack of communication made some guests feel unwelcome and frustrated. Additionally, the campground is not the most spacious, making it difficult for big rigs to navigate. Despite this, Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground provides a beautiful view of the surrounding nature, and it has access to lovely trails for hiking.

Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground is located off Highway 64-74 across the Broad River. With 70 RV sites, 13 tent sites, and 2 cabins, we can comfortably accommodate any group of vacationers. All the campsites are tucked in the beautiful Chimney Rock forest and all of them have breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Broad River. Come experience everything Chimney Rock, NC has to offer from boating, tubing, and fishing to hiking historic landscape, there isn’t a shortage of activities while you stay with us.
