Located near the town of Bells and just a short drive from the Outer Banks, this campground offers waterfront camping with stunning views of Currituck Sound. The grassy lots are level and come with a fire ring and picnic table, and the campground also has a boat launch and dock for fishing, swimming, and other water activities. The bathrooms are a bit dated but clean, and there is only one shower area for the entire camp. The manager, Bill, is always available by phone and in person in the late afternoon, and the price to stay the night is very inexpensive. This is a great spot for those looking to get away from civilization and enjoy a serene sunrise or sunset.
