Jones Lake is a beautiful and well-maintained camping park in Elizabethtown, NC. The park has very spacious campsites and is quiet with plenty of activities to do such as playing volleyball and horseshoes on the field. The visitors center is also very nice and the pavilion is huge. The lake itself is top-notch and the park has excellent facilities. One of the outstanding features of Jones Lake is the specially designed handicapped spots that can serve the intended purpose. The trees are thinned out enough to maintain positive aesthetics while still maintaining clear skies. Note that if you use GPS to get to the park, follow the sign and not the chained road. Overall, this park is an excellent choice for camping.
