What others are saying about this campground
Enfield Rocky Mount KOA is a great spot for travelers looking for an easy access pit stop in NC, right off I-95. It offers relatively even pull-through spots and a dog park that both you and your furry friends will love. The park has beautiful trees and is quiet and relaxing. Although the park is showing signs of aging, it wont impact your stay. The staff is helpful and friendly, and makes your check-in/out processes convenient. There are some muddy sites during the rainy seasons, but thats common among campsites. Overall, its a decent spot for a quick overnight stay, and the location and on-site amenities make it a convenient and enjoyable break from a long day of driving.

Conveniently located halfway between New York and Florida, this rural, peaceful campground is nestled among cotton, tobacco and peanut fields. Just 3/4 mile off I-95, it's the perfect place to stop, unplug, and relax for a night or the weekend. While we are not a destination campground, we are the perfect overnight or quiet weekend campground. The campground is close to several historic sites in nearby Halifax. You're also about 2 1/2 hours from Virginia Beach or Cape Hatteras and the Outer Banks. You'll find shopping and family activities to the north in Roanoke Rapids or to the south in Rocky Mount. Both are only a short 20-minute drive away. Your dogs will enjoy a large off-leash, fenced-in pet area at our KOA. We offer RV sites, primitive cabins. You're sure to have a relaxing time! Max pull thru: 60 feet. Your host: The Ashwood family. Starting March 1 2025 our check-in time for RVs and tents will be 1:00pm each day.
