Foothills Family Campground is a peaceful and beautiful place located off the road. Although the campground mostly houses full-time residents, there are a couple of pull-through sites spacious enough to fit 43ft fifth wheels. You can enjoy great stargazing at night in a quiet and dark environment. The campground also offers reliable utilities, strong wifi, and great over-the-air TV. Propane is available on site. The staff is nice and welcoming, and the sites are clean with reasonable prices. The campground has trails you can walk on and is suitable for staying a few nights. However, the roads in the campground are dirt and steep, so it may be better to unhook any Jeep or car before navigating an RV to the site. While this park is mostly ideal, some flying beetles do get inside camper during certain periods.
