We enjoyed our stay and will return. This RV campground is close to the Smokey Mountains National Park and the town of Highlands. It has pull-through sites with level gravel spots and roads, and they offer cable TV and Wi-Fi. The staff are friendly and there is a large grassy area for pets. There is a river located adjacent to the campground and they have a schedule of events including bingo, cards, and church. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Many of the campers are there for the long-term, and they are very friendly. There is a convenience store and restaurant next door. It is a great location for exploring the mountains of North Carolina and the autumn foliage is especially beautiful. The campground is off the road and quiet, however cars can be heard during the day. It is not recommended for young families as there is not much for them to do.

Established in 1982, the park is open year-round and offers full hookups to water and sewer systems, 30 or 50 amp electricity, and free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the park. During your stay, you can join a variety of activities, such as covered-dish dinner, bingo, card making, and arts and crafts. The park is a perfect vacation destination for nature lovers.
