This campground is a small, peaceful, and beautiful spot located in Franklin, NC, just off Hwy 64. It is close to Greenways Trail, Walmart, two grocery stores, and several restaurants, making it a convenient and desirable place to stay. There are only 17 sites, all full hookup and back-in, with a concrete patio and picnic table at each site. Most sites have some shade, and the space between sites is more than in many parks. The gravel sites require very little leveling. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and invites campers to join their daily happy hour in the gazebo. The park is pet-friendly and close to several tourist attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Fishing in the river for trout is a popular activity. WIFI and cable (minimal) are provided, and only Verizon works here. No credit cards are accepted.
