Hatteras Sands Campground provides a good experience overall. Some sites may be difficult to back into for larger RVs, and the roads are narrow, but waterfront spots can accommodate big rigs. The campground doesnt offer bike rentals, but it has a game room and a convenient laundry facility. During high-water season, flooding might occur, but this is to be expected. The location is great for families with rental houses nearby and is just a short bike ride away from the beach.
