Raccoon Holler Campground is a large RV park with many permanent residents. Despite the large number of people, guests can still have fun. The staff is incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. With lots of activities, like basketball, horseshoe, fishing, and walking trails, everyone can find something to do. There are even swings throughout the campsite for added enjoyment. The scenery and location make it an excellent place for photography. However, be prepared to clean up the site when you arrive, as previous campers may have left their garbage behind. Some of the permanent residents can be cliquey and drive recklessly on their golf carts, which may be off-putting for some guests. Additionally, there are some breed restrictions for dogs, so make sure you check before bringing your pets.

Nestled on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the North Carolina Mountains, Raccoon Holler Campground offers a cool and breathtaking camping experience. Whether you have a 'Big Rig' or enjoy tent camping, overnight or for the season, we have a site for you. Please be aware that while we welcome pets, for the safety and comfort of our guests, there are restrictions. No aggressive breed dogs or incessant barkers. All pets must be maintained, leashed, and accompanied by an adult whenever outside.
