What others are saying
This campground is not for the faint of heart. It is a budget-friendly option for travelers, but comes with a few drawbacks. The interior roads are gravel and filled with potholes, and the sites are small and narrow with no fire rings. The entrance road is very rough and the sites are very narrow and short. The sewer is at the very back and uphill, and the turns are tight and may not accommodate big rigs. Additionally, the campground is located close to a set of railway tracks, so the noise of the trains could be bothersome for light sleepers. The bathrooms were clean upon arrival, but reviews suggest they have since become filthy. The owner is also known to be rude and unhelpful, and even cursed and threatened a 74 year old woman when she asked about wifi (which they dont offer). The campground is cash only, and the rate is not as advertised - $25/night Mon-Thurs, and $40/night on weekends. The only redeeming quality is the drive-in theater. It is a work in progress, but until it is cleaned up and the owner is more welcoming, it is best to stay away.
