Mountain Falls is a high-end Class A ownership resort located at an elevation of 3200 feet in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The resort is beautifully landscaped and the interior roads are wide and easily navigable, even for the largest of coaches. The resort includes a 9-hole par 3 golf course, pickleball courts, a clubhouse with an exercise and fitness room, plus a mountain-top pool. Lots are large and many come with various amenities such as pergolas, fire pits, water features, and outdoor kitchens. The resort also hosts social events a few times each week. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the owners are the nicest and most accommodating group of people. The area is full of amazing hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes, breweries, and restaurants. The drive in can be daunting with steep, very narrow twisty 2 lane roads, but once inside the gates you’ll soon forget the twists and turns you just encountered. The views from The Ridge at the top of the resort are stunning and the sites for rent in this section are quite stark, mostly just a level concrete pad. The WiFi worked well and there are plenty of cable channels. The grounds of the resort are lovely and well maintained, and the club house is gorgeous with an outstanding view of the mountains.
