Raven Rock State Park is a serene campground located in a forest setting. The campground offers full RV hookups, large campsites, and newly updated facilities. There is ample space between sites and total absence of commercial noise. The campground is well laid out and offers bike and hike trails with scenic views of the Cape Fear River. Firewood is available for purchase and delivered to your site upon request. Park rangers and county sheriffs are visible throughout the day and the gate is locked from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Nearby Lillington has limited services and mom and pop dining options. The campground is open Thursday through Sunday due to funding and is usually booked out for months in advance.

From The Campground
Raven Rock State Park offers primitive backpacking and paddle-in camping experiences. The Family Wilderness Camp and Canoe Camp offer campsites accommodating up to six campers each. All sites include a fire ring with a grill and a vault toilet. The park also offers RV campsites with electric, water, and sewer hookups. Campers can purchase firewood at the park for $7 a bundle. The park offers a $6 discount per night for campers 62 years old or older and any veteran or active military members.
