The campground is surrounded by woods, making it extremely private and giving it a relaxed feel. Its conveniently located near Route 85 and is surprisingly quiet despite the proximity to the freeway. The laundry area is clean, convenient, and easily accessible, with affordable laundry facilities. Garbage pickup at the end of your site is another convenient feature. The campsites are roomy, with plenty of space between them and divided by trees to offer privacy. The roads within the campground are wide and easy to navigate, making it a great place to stay with your RV. Laundry facilities are available, with older machines that get the job done. Cross Winds Family Campground in Linwood North Carolina provides full hookup RV camping convenient to I-85 in a wooded setting. The nicely maintained campground has paved and gravel roads with packed gravel parking pads. Excellent separation between the sites the park is situated close to the interstate but in a quiet setting. Serving short term and overnight guests the park has restrooms with showers, a laundry, recreation center/ clubhouse, playground, and walking trails all in a forested setting. Big rig friendly with 30/50 amp hookups guests can select sites in either a shaded setting or open area (excellent for large RVs looking to stop overnight). Located between Charlotte and Greensboro the park also has a pool, open seasonally, and is a nice family friendly park.
