GenieSummary

Hagan Stone Park is a great destination for camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and more. Located conveniently off of the interstate, it is easily accessible from CH, Durham, Raleigh, and Greensboro. The park features a huge lake at the center and miles of gravel and dirt trails, as well as two dump stations, two bath houses, and multiple playgrounds. There are three camping loops: Loop B is heavily wooded with 30amp and water every-other site, Loop C is basically a field with RV parking along the perimeter, and Loop A is a wooded area with individual tent sites. All sites are well-maintained and have access to hot water showers. The park also offers shelters for rent, kayaking on the pond, and plenty of trails for walking and biking. While the park can get crowded, it is generally quiet and peaceful. There is a Food Lion and Gas Station 10 minutes away for any forgotten items.
