This campground is located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, offering unbeatable views of the sound and sunsets. It is perfect for tent campers and those with shorter RVs (25 or less). The bath house is not air-conditioned, but it is huge with great water pressure. There is also a watersport and bike rental business on the property, as well as a pizza/sandwich place and convenience stores within walking distance. The campground is close to the beach, the Wright Brothers memorial, and the Lost Colony of Roanoke. The sites are small and tightly spaced, with zero privacy, but the prices are great for the area. Be prepared to securely tie down any tents, pop-up gazebos or screen houses you have, as the wind can be strong and the bugs can be brutal when there is no breeze.
