This city run campground is a great deal for the price, offering full hookups for just $20 a night. Located steps away from a gorgeous lake, the campground features a small beach area, swing seating, and a beautiful sunrise view over the lake. Each site has a fire ring, grill, picnic table, and is shaded by tall pines. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and well taken care of. Though the roads and sites are gravel, they are almost completely level, and the bath house is clean and nice. The campground is fairly quiet most of the time, though it does pick up on the weekends. There is some road noise at night, but it is not too bothersome. The campground is safe and convenient, and Verizon coverage is available.
