Holden Beach Fishing Pier and Campground is a great place for those looking for a quiet and laid back beach camping experience. The sites are full hookup pull throughs, a little tight, but will accommodate big rigs. The campground is located on an island with the ocean on one side and the Intracostal Waterway on the other. It has nothing fancy but does have what you need, water, sewer hookup and power. There are approximately 25 sites located in parking lot style on sand, with broken down and worn out picnic tables with worn wood roof over them on each site. The campground provides no play ground, cable TV, or swimming pool, but it does have a greasy spoon restaurant on site and a very large fishing pier. People are all very friendly and there is direct ocean front access. If you love the beach, walking on the 8 miles or so of pristine beach, hearing the waves crashing, fishing, surfing and hanging out in a low key place, this is the place for you!
