Asheville East KOA in Swannanoa,NC is a beautiful campground close to downtown Asheville. The staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bathrooms are clean and nice. Although some sites may be small and difficult to back into, the campground is overall clean and quiet. The wifi can be slow and unreliable, but there are many activities for kids and lovely views of the river. Some sites may have an issue with ducks, but there are plenty of other site options available. Particularly enjoyable is Lot 13, which offers a beautiful view of the water.
