Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground is a highly sought after spot located directly on the sand just yards away from the water on the sound side. The sunset views are spectacular and the breezy atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing outdoor experience. While the internet connection is not great, the tech-free environment allows for an in-the-moment experience. Despite being in close proximity to neighboring sites, they still managed to offer privacy, especially if you get an end unit. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and provides great customer service. Although the park is a bit of a drive from grocery stores and attractions, the clean laundry facilities and bathhouses make up for this. The water, power, sewer, and cable are all working and the campground provides easy access to the beach. Overall, it is a great place to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation.
