Ocean Waves Campground in Waves, NC has lovely manicured grounds and is kept clean. Despite the tight roads, it is quite manageable to navigate. The campground has great amenities and good power, water and sewer hookups. The concrete sites are mostly level and cable is available, but with a limited number of channels. The beach is beautiful with strong ocean currents. You can watch the wind surfers nearby and the kids will love the pool. Its a perfect getaway and worth the price, although it has gone up over the years. The campground is smaller, but cozy. It has easy access to a dollar general and a market. The only drawback is there are no playground areas for children.
