GenieSummary

This RV campground is located near many attractions in the North Carolina mountains. It is part of the Lake Junaluska Conference Center and has a great walking/biking trail that loops around the lake. The staff were very friendly, and the sites are mostly gravel, but grass has grown through. The campground is on a busy highway with a lot of road noise, but it does quiet down at night. There is a modern bath house, but the other bathhouses are outdated, but clean and well maintained. There is a swimming area across the street and a Cokesbury book store nearby. The park is close to Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Cherokee and the Cataloochee area. It is a good spot for a one night stay, but the highway noise and odd hookup configurations may be a downside.
