Fort Wilderness Campground and RV Park is a family-friendly facility located next to Cherokee, North Carolina. The campground offers 120 sites on ten acres in the Great Smoky Mountains, including RV sites, tent sites, cabin rentals, and group accommodations. The sites are nicely shaded and well away from the bustle of Cherokee, yet close enough to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, trophy fishing, shopping and dining, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, Bryson City Smoky Mountain Railroad, and many more activities and attractions. The amenities include a large pool, playground, game room, campground store, modern laundry, two bathhouses, camper pavilion, pet park, horseshoes, volleyball, pool table, ping pong, basketball, tetherball, playground set, and board games.
