COE Pk at W. Kerr Scott Lake is a great campground for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. The sites are well graveled and level, with picnic table, fire-ring, and lamp hanging posts. There is plenty of room between rigs, and the sites are private and shaded. The campground also features a private bathhouse, basketball court, large shelters with cooking grills, and a man-made beach with lake swimming area. The roads are hilly, so it may be challenging for larger rigs, but there is a pull-through site that is adequate for larger rigs. The campground also offers a boat ramp, swimming beach, playground, theater, and panic shelter. The office sells ice and firewood, and you can borrow life jackets there. It is conveniently located near Boone NC, and is a great place for families to spend time outdoors.
