General Sibley Park in Bismarck, ND is a nice facility that offers a tent camping area where you can park and pitch your tent anywhere within the space. The cost is $12 for a single night. Some spots have electric, while others do not, so be sure to check if you need it. The campground has plenty of trees and shade spots to make your stay comfortable. There are numerous fire pits, as well as picnic tables to facilitate your needs. Its easy to find a suitable spot even on busy days because of the parks size. The bathroom facilities are decent, however, they are not exceptionally clean, which is typical of a campground. You will see the Sheriff driving through, which provides some level of security. The park entrance is narrow but manageable with rock pillars. It is important to check in with the staff upon arrival, even if you have reservations. Staff members are considerate and helpful. Its worth noting that the road leading to the park is narrow, with hanging tree limbs and a sharp curve, so its not suitable for large rigs. The staff are willing to help, so be sure to ask for assistance if needed. The park is quiet, and there is plenty of green space to walk around. Our fire pit and table were at the back of our RV. Theres a lot of space in the park, but larger rigs need to stay near the front because the roads at the back are narrower and have lower branches. It can be easy to miss the road signs leading to the numbered campsites, so take your time and be careful while driving your RV. You will encounter some sharper curves with close RVs, so proceed with caution. We didnt have any problems leveling, and we noticed many disc golfers in the park. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at General Sibley Park and would recommend it to other campers.

General Sibley Park & Campground is a year-round park located in Bismarck, North Dakota. The park offers RV campsites with electrical hook-ups, a tent camping area, full-service restrooms and showers, picnic shelters, playgrounds, an 18-hole disc golf course, water and dump stations, boat ramp, amphitheater, walking paths, and historical/interpretive panels. The tent camping area has no designated sites, but campers are allowed to set up their tents anywhere within the mowed tent area. There are fire pits, picnic tables, and vault toilets available within the designated tent camping area. The park also offers amenities such as horseshoes, geocaches, interpretive trail, little free library, sand volleyball court, and poetry boxes. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.
