GenieSummary

Grahams Island State Park is a gorgeous and spacious park with very well-spaced campsites consisting of fire pits and picnic tables. The campsite is a bit tricky to negotiate at night, but once you find it, youll have plenty of wind protection and privacy due to the abundance of trees. The primitive campground, located down to the water and off to the left, was a little confusing to find, but worth the effort. Despite a few annoying black flies, this park is definitely worth visiting because of its beauty and its plethora of amenities. Notably, theres a fully fenced dog park, which is awesome! Although the park is mostly known for its fishing in-season, there are still vault toilets and water available at the camp store.

From The Campground

Grahams Island State Park offers a variety of camping options including 15 group modern campsites with electricity, water, and the ability to put multiple units on one site, 12 group primitive campsites with the ability to put multiple units on one site, and 9 primitive campsites. The park also features day-use facilities such as a dog park, Sivert Thompson Activity Center, and picnic shelters. Additional park amenities include a bait shop, boat ramp, fish cleaning station, gas pump, horseshoe courts, playground, sewage dump station, sewer and electrical hookups, showers and flush toilets, swim beach, visitor center, and volleyball court. The park also offers hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing trails.
