The International Peace Garden is located in Dunseith, ND, and has a campground on the US side. Upon arrival, friendly staff members at the gate provided helpful information and maps for our stay. The campground offers sites with both electricity and water, as well as electricity only. There are many trees in the campground area, which can lead to a significant mosquito presence, especially at dusk. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and sitting by the campfire during our stay. However, the garden was not fully planted during our visit, which was not mentioned beforehand. Additionally, we encountered difficulty in finding the water spigot for our site, and limited access to laundry and Wi-Fi. The hiking trails were closed, and the lakes were not suitable for kayaking due to beaver populations. The bathhouse was also infested with mosquitoes. However, staff members in the admin office were accommodating, and refunds were given for early departures. Despite some issues, the concept of the garden is admirable, and the scenery was beautiful.

The International Peace Garden is a beautiful and educational destination located on the border of North Dakota, USA and Manitoba, Canada. The garden is open daily from 8am to 8pm and offers a variety of attractions including formal gardens, hiking and biking trails, a floral clock, a peace chapel, and more. The garden also features a historic lodge, interpretive center, and picnic areas. Camping is available on site.
