This campground is perfect for families looking for a peaceful riverside getaway. It is relatively small, but easy to get campers into spots. There is a very nice play area for the kids, as well as a large covered picnic area for the adults. Everyone was very friendly and the view over the river was beautiful. Unfortunately, it is not recommended for type A motor homes due to the small turnarounds and narrow roads. There is only one site with 50 amp service, with the rest being 30 amp. Card-carrying seniors can receive a discounted rate. Nearby Eggerts Landing C of E campground is fairly level, but heavily wooded, making satellite TV a challenge on most sites. Be sure to check for ticks if you have kids or pets. All in all, this is a very nice campground with a beautiful lake and a quiet atmosphere.
