GenieSummary

Medora Campground is a well-maintained facility located near Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. The campground has an office with a small store for your camping needs. The staff is friendly and check-in is a breeze. The campground has mature trees and offers good length sites. While the sites are not very wide, they are well placed and comfortable. The pull-thru sites in the new section may be dusty and without too much shade, however the older part of the campground offers plenty of trees for cover. The campground provides Wifi, and streaming TV is possible, which you can enjoy after a long day. The South entrance to the park is next to the campground, and the town of Medora has enjoyable attractions such as restaurants and gift shops. Medora Musical is a great evening of entertainment. One can also visit the ND Cowboy Hall-of-Fame to learn about the history of the cowboys. The real attraction is Theodore Roosevelt National Park - fantastic scenery and lots of bison and other wildlife. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. One thing to note is that there is no grocery or hardware store in town. The nearest large town is Dickinson, which is about 30 miles away. Make sure that you have all that you need before you arrive in Medora. Overall, its a great place to stay and enjoy Medora.
