Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch is a great camping spot located in a picturesque and serene location. The flat gravel sites offer full hook-up, while still providing better spacing than other nearby campgrounds. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the Badlands from the campsite. Although there is no shade or a lot of privacy, you can open up the back of your trailer to enjoy the great outdoors as the temperature cools towards evening. The bathrooms could use some attention but there is a water spigot available near the site. The mile of dirt road may be rough, so its important to take care while driving. Overall, its a peaceful spot for camping, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and scenic views.

Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch and Trail Head is a full-service lodging facility with a restaurant and lounge, camper hookups, and dry camp sites. They offer 27 modern furnished, air-conditioned rooms built in a rustic log cabin style. The ranch has extra stock and arena facilities if you would like to bring your own mount. They have barns, segregated pens, corals, and a new arena with clean fresh water and room for 80 head. Feed and certified hay is available. In addition to lodging and trail riding opportunities, folks find their arena and stable facilities ideal for their Team Roping and Calf Penning competitions. Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch is a great place to experience the North Dakota Badlands.
