Eggerts Landing is a picturesque campground located in Valley City, ND. To get there from I-94, you can take either exit 292 or exit 294, both of which lead to the area. The campground is easy to find as it has several signs indicating its location. Once you arrive, youll notice how well-maintained the campground is. There is a dump station conveniently located near the entrance where you can access potable water. All sites have 30 AMP electric, and there are plenty of spots for RVs of all sizes. Backing in is a breeze, and there is a good amount of vegetation and trees that separate each site, providing a sense of privacy. The campground has a lot of mature trees, which means that satellite reception may be limited for some sites. However, the sites in the front of the campground are more open, and you could easily get a signal there. The sites at the far end of the campground are more private and offer trails to explore around. While there are no sites that are directly on the lake, several of them have paths leading to the water. The campground has smartly placed trash cans, water spigots, and vault toilets for visitors convenience. There is also a shower house towards the front of the back loop. Overall, Eggerts Landing is an exceptionally relaxing and peaceful camping destination perfect for those who prefer a more natural setting. Valley City is only a short drive away if you need to pick up any necessities, or you can take the opportunity to explore the charming coffee shops and stores in Jamestown.
