This campground located in Walhallas beautiful city park offers an extensive range of camping options for all types of travelers. From spacious riverside campsites with full hookups to wooded standard campsites, and a spacious lush shady and grassy primitive tenting area, there is something for everyone. All sites have easy access to a couple of canoe or kayak launch sites, as well as a beautiful sparkling swimming pool, brand new playground, outdoor amphitheater for summer programs, historic settler cabins, picnic areas, and easy walking distance to cafes and shops in town. A short drive away are scenic overlook areas, various canoe and kayak launch sites for the Pembina River whitewater paddle trail, and trailheads for myriad hiking trails in the Terault State Forest or the Pembina Gorge. The FrostFire section of the park includes a winter center for both downhill and cross country skiing, and a summer center with hiking trails and extensive mountain biking trails, with the option of a chair lift ride up or down the gorge for trail access or just a view. There is also an equipment rental shop, a cafe and dining room, and an outdoor summerstock theater that presents musicals. Best of all, the campground is off the beaten path, so it is peaceful and enjoyable. The manager is very gracious and the fees are reasonable.

Walhalla Riverside Campground offers 35 beautiful camper sites with water and mostly 30/50 amp hookups, as well as primitive camping for tents. The campground is located in Walhalla, ND and offers RV and tent sites for camping enthusiasts. Reservations can be made online or by calling the campground directly. The campground has a 48-hour cancellation policy and check-out time is 11 AM.
