Juniper Campground Group Site in Watford City, ND is a delightful first come, first serve campground located on the north side of Little Missouri River, across from the CCC Campground. The roads and parking pads are paved and well-maintained, and there are no hookups available. Visitors can take advantage of clean restrooms with running water and flush toilets, and a sanitary dump. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful, providing tips on what to see and do in and around the park. Visitors can witness stunning views of the surrounding wildlife, including buffalo and big horn cows. However, there is very minimal shade, and it can be hot in June. Nonetheless, if you are visiting the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Juniper Campground Group Site is a good spot to stay at.
