Red River Valley Fair Campground is a reliable stopover for travelers in the Fargo area. Located just off the interstate, the campground is within walking distance of the county fair and other conveniences. The sites are gravel pull-throughs with electric and sewer hookups, and potable water is available. The campground is patrolled for security at night, and the host/caretaker is very friendly and helpful. The condition of the park has deteriorated, however, with junk and belongings allowed to pile up around the sites, and weeds and pot holes in the gravel road. While the sites are level and spacious, the electric boxes are outdated and some of the water pressure is poor. This campground is best for travelers who need a quick stopover, but may not be suitable for extended stays.
