This campground is located on a hilltop overlooking the city and offers stunning views. It was built for long-term oil workers during the boom and still has a lot of space for RVers. The sites are large, level, and have full hookups with 50-amp electric. The roads are dirt and gravel, and can be a bit dusty. There are no trees or landscaping, but there is a large, clean laundry facility and two big screen TVs in the clubhouse area. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the park is making efforts to clean up the area from the oil boom. There is a Walmart Supercenter, Ace Hardware, Menard’s, and Sportsmen’s Warehouse nearby. This is a great place to stay if youre travelling through the area, although the price is high.
