Sunset Springs Resort is a family-friendly campground located a short distance from the highway. The facilities are clean and modern, and the grounds are well-maintained. The new owners have put in a lot of effort to upgrade the sites, and are in the process of making most sites full hookup. There are a number of permanent RVs in the park, as well as nice-looking cabins around the lake. The lake offers great fishing, and has a beach for swimming. There is also cool looking playground equipment in the lake for kids to enjoy. The only downside is that cell phone and internet service can be spotty. The bathrooms are in need of replacement, and there is a lack of dog-friendly stations and garbage receptacles. Check-in is between 3-7pm.
