Canton / East Sparta KOA Holiday is a great RV park with paved roadways and gravel sites that offer full hookups. The parks location is just a few miles off I-77, making it really easy to access. You can explore many nearby attractions while staying here. The bath house is attached to the check-in office and camp store. The park has lots of activities, like putt-putt and a pool, which wasnt open yet during my visit. I noticed that many people are full-time campers but still work during the week and spend their nights and weekends at the park. The staff is nice and friendly, and the check-in process is easy. Although it seems quite pricey for what is offered, I would come back. The park is very spacious, making it perfect for big rigs and easy to navigate around. The store was a little messy, but the staff members were really helpful and gave great recommendations on local things to do. Overall, its a really nice, clean campground and an excellent place to stay for a visit to the Dover and New Philadelphia area.

Also called Bear Creek Ranch, this quiet, rural 300-acre campground has a Western flair, with guided horseback rides along wooded trails and pony rides for little buckaroos. Enjoy 18-hole mini golf with creek/waterfalls, an Olympic-size pool with dump buckets, a giant seesaw and a KampK9 for pets. Fish or paddleboat on the 5-acre lake or ride your ATVs on nearby 26-mile marked trails. Join in family-oriented themed weekends. Great camping also awaits you in a Deluxe Cabin with a bathroom and kitchen. This is the KOA closest to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the largest Amish community, McKinley Presidential Library and Museum, Warther Museum and Gardens and Lehman's Hardware. Nearby, find flea markets, ATV trails, golf courses, canoeing and shopping. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 65 feet. Your hosts: the Soehnlen family.
