the locals are very nice.. This campground is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing camping experience. The sites are well-maintained and quiet, with beautiful views of the lake. The staff and rangers are friendly and welcoming, providing gift bags for the kids and offering help with fires and worms for fishing. There are also handicap parking and camping spots available near the shower house. The campground offers amazing prices for renting out a pontoon boat, and allows you to park down below right by the docks. Booking online must be done two days in advance, and cell service is weak. The campground has a mandatory two night stay, and make sure to ask for a level spot if you are in a shorty van. There is also a family dollar store in town about four miles away. Fishing is allowed with a 9.9 hp boat restriction, and kayak launches are available. This is the perfect spot for anyone who loves a private spot in nature for an overnight stay.

It’s a great place for boating, fishing, paddlesports hiking, and many more outdoor activities. The campground offers lakeside camping and the beautiful log cabins provide the perfect getaway. The marina offers boat rentals, daily and seasonal docking, bait and tackle, ethanol-free fuel sales, repair services, snacks and supplies, and overnight accommodations including a clean, comfortable motel.
