What others are saying
The Ohio Turnpike - Blue Heron Service Plaza in Genoa, OH provides overnight RV parking for a reasonable price of $20 that includes electric hookup, fresh water, and a dump station. The sites are pull-thru on asphalt, with options for 50/30/20 amp electric hookups. The plaza also features clean bathrooms with showers. Although there are some food vendors, they may not be open depending on the time of day. The parking lot is clean and well-lit, making it an easy-in and easy-out location right off I-90 with access to services, diesel, and gas. It may not be suitable for longer RVs as sites are only 40-feet long, but with careful angling, slightly longer vehicles may be able to fit as well. Overall, this service plaza is a great option for a convenient and affordable overnight stop.

From The Campground
The Blue Heron Service Plaza is named after the Great Blue Heron, a majestic bird that nests in large colonies in the vicinity of the plaza. The plaza offers RV overnight parking with electrical hookups, wastewater station, and potable water. There are 11 pull-through RV parking spaces available. The plaza also features arcade games for customers. The Great Blue Heron feeds on a wide variety of aquatic life, but the bulk of its fish diet consists of non-game species. Nesting colonies of these birds have been reported in 33 of Ohio’s 88 counties. Although protected by the Federal Migratory Bird Treaty, few birds are in greater need of friends than the Great Blue Heron. Its large size makes is an easy and tempting target for the thoughtless and its nesting colonies are easily broken up by intruders.
