What others are saying
This campground is a great place to stay for an overnight stop. It is located on a huge quarry, with a small beach area and lots of fish to catch. The access roads are large enough for rigs, but are dirt and gravel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the park is very well kept. There is no Wi-Fi, cable, or laundromat, but there is an Applebees and Bob Evans nearby. Pull-through sites are better set up for truck towing 5th wheel or trailer, rather than motorhome towing a vehicle due to the placement of the hookups. Fire pits are positioned mid way on the site, not front or rear, so no air flow between sites. There is a playground and a nice view of the quarry, but no other amenities normally found in campgrounds in this price range. Pets are not allowed on the small beach, but the rule is not enforced. The access road is 1500 ft or more and is narrow with a few limbs to avoid. There is a coupon on their website for $3.00 off for the first night.
