Despite the close proximity of the spots, the campground is in poor repair with several trashy long term residences. The water lines are not heated, and you must find and dig them out by hand. Road noise from the state highway can be heard, but tapers off at night. Spacious sites, cabins, a shelter house, picnic areas, a camp supply store, a bathhouse, laundry facilities, public telephones, volleyball, a playground, a pay lake for fishing, double horseshoe pits, a restaurant, a swimming pool, and double cornhole are just some of the many activities available. The campground is also pipeliner friendly and welcomes deer hunters. With hundreds of thousands of acres of farm and woodland available for deer hunting in the region, guests have great chances of taking home a prize deer. The stay at Lazy Dog will be the highlight of any trip to Jackson, OH.
