This campground is a great experience for those looking for an overnight stay or a weekend trip. Despite the close proximity of the spots, the campground is in poor repair with several trashy long term residences. The water lines are not heated, and you must find and dig them out by hand. Road noise from the state highway can be heard, but tapers off at night. Despite this, the campground offers excellent fishing, a camp store with hot food, and a ride on their little train and a round of mini golf with the cost of admission.

Lazy Dog Campgrounds & Resort is a spacious campground located in Jackson, OH. Under new ownership, the campground offers a variety of amenities and activities for guests to enjoy. Spacious sites, cabins, a shelter house, picnic areas, a camp supply store, a bathhouse, laundry facilities, public telephones, volleyball, a playground, a pay lake for fishing, double horseshoe pits, a restaurant, a swimming pool, and double cornhole are just some of the many activities available. The campground is also pipeliner friendly and welcomes deer hunters. With hundreds of thousands of acres of farm and woodland available for deer hunting in the region, guests have great chances of taking home a prize deer. The stay at Lazy Dog will be the highlight of any trip to Jackson, OH.
