East Harbor State Park is a large and spacious campground, perfect for families looking to enjoy nature. The C loop has minimal trees, but the south circles have private sites. The bathhouse is well-maintained and clean. While families tend to frequent the campground, quiet hours are respected. The trails are a great place for families to walk with children, as they are wide, grassy, and well-mowed. Although the Wi-Fi is not the strongest, there are plenty of other activities for families, including fishing and visiting the beach. East Harbor is one of the preferred parks for RV camping with full hookups and pull-through sites. The location is optimal for ferrying to other islands and biking the Buckeye trail.
