The campground is well maintained and the hosts are friendly. Its a great place to stay for a few days or longer. This municipal campground is located in Lima, Ohio, just 1.5 miles east of I-75 and is the perfect spot to use as an overnight stop when traveling. It features eight 60-70 foot long pull-through sites which are very level and big rig friendly, as well as back-in sites with plenty of space between you and your neighbors. The campground is well maintained and the sites are paved, with grass and a gravel border, and come with a picnic table and fire pit. There are 30 and 50 amp hookups and water between two sites, as well as a dump station, but no sewer hookup. There is also a small swimming lake, open late May through mid-August for a fee, and miles of paved bike trails. The campground hosts are friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and the bathhouse is very clean and has vending machines. The park is great for a one-night stay or longer if you can go without sewer, and the senior rate is $25.

Ottawa Metro Park is a 287.3-acre park located in Lima, Ohio. The park offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities, including fishing, boating, swimming, camping, hiking, biking, disc golf, and geocaching. The park features a 89-acre Lima Lake reservoir, a swimming beach with a water trampoline, a covered picnic area, and three reservable picnic shelters with electricity. The park also has a modern shower/restroom facility with vending area, a paved trail for walking, hiking, and biking, and an 18-hole Frisbee golf course. The campground offers 30 spacious campsites with hook-ups for water and electric, picnic tables, lantern holders, and fire rings. The campground also has eight pull-through sites and a dump station. The park is open from mid-April through mid-October.
