And I love that you can go across the lake and rent a pontoon boat for the day! You can also take advantage of the kayak and paddle boat rentals. The camp sites are close together, and some of the fellow campers can be noisy late at night. The staff and camp hosts are friendly and helpful, and the fellow campers are kind and welcoming. The nature trail is a bit of a walk, but it is worth it for the beautiful views. The lake is murky, but it is still a great place for families to recreate. There is no camp store or sewer or cable available, and the sites 1-6 are close to a permanent trailer park. Goose excrement is all over the lakeside campsites, so bring a shovel and plastic bags to clean up before setting up camp.
