What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located right on the river, offering canoe/kayak/tube access and great water pressure. It is a great escape from the city life, offering miles of hiking, mountain biking and horse trails, as well as a canoe livery down the road. There are a lodge with a restaurant, a couple waterfalls, a scenic overlook, fire tower, dam, pavilions, playgrounds and more. The entrance and exit for a 40ft 5th wheel is difficult, and there is no sewer hookup. The 5mph speed limit is rarely enforced, and kids are out all hours of the night. Security folks visit camp sites after food is ready, and they kept our $100 security deposit when my RVs engine backfired. This campground can be busy and dusty, so it is recommended to reserve at least two sites side-by-side to maximize distance from other campers.
