GenieSummary
This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway in the heart of Ohios Amish Country. It offers easy access to shopping, food, and other great experiences like the large cuckoo clock in Sugar Creek. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as volleyball, basketball, corn hole, and a dog path on the end of the park. The sites are very close and sloped, so fire pits and picnic tables are not recommended. However, there is a short walking trail through the woods behind the campground and a basketball and volleyball court with balls provided. The entire site is on a slope, so sitting outside in the afternoon can be difficult. The campground is located on narrow and hilly country roads that are heavily traveled with Amish buggys, and there is some road noise from the nearby highway. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, allowing visitors to park their motorhome in an adjacent lot on the day of checkout.
